On day one, dentist, Dr. Keiko Wada and her dental assistant, Ashley Florek, were greeted by the clinical director, Dr. Stephanie Lambour and the clinic’s full time dentist, Dr. Rodiguez They were greeted with a warm welcome back and a dental chair to work from for the rest of the week!
Dr. Keiko Wada was honored to give back through dedicated, sophisticated dentistry offered abroad. A remote dental clinic of Guatemala had five operatories packed with patients visiting throughout the day. Accompanied by her dental assistant Jeni and her dental hygienist Terrie, Dr. Wada treated approximately 35 patients, ranging in age from 5 to 60 years old, in a course of four days and provided necessary dental works we often take for granted in the U.S.
Dr. Keiko Wada and her team at Opalesque Dentistry embrace the concepts of the contribution game within and outside of their local community of Gig Harbor, Washington. Dr. Wada and her dental assistant, Jeni, and her dental hygienist, Terrie, recently returned from Guatamala where they contributed time, skills, care and hugs to a population of children and adults in dire need of dental treatment.
